Yes, I'll be up for that. I'm really struggling to find a route for that, though, because of Camden Town, Kennington and Euston Square!

Sadly Gillingham are playing Notts Forest that day so I wont be able to make it, but to hijack the thread early I will be up for some tube challenging during the week of the october school holiday.

It would be helpful if something were organised for the Friday of that week, since that's the best day for me to come back from university.

No worries we will work something out for the 27th Oct for sure then...

I've just realised that the 27th of October might be difficult for me, as it clashes with something else I've been roped into ... but I'll let you know. Do plan something for that week, anyway, and I'll see if I can get back from Bath to join you lot. It'll be nice to see my family again too.
My housemate Paul (whom you met on our Vauxhall jaunt) and I planned an interesting Mouse route which does four consecutive stations outside the Mouse; any guesses as to what line I'm getting out of the way in one fell swoop?
By the way, it's a shame that the Zone 1 thing from Earls Court wasn't to be. I had an exceptionally lazy route, changing only eight times and finishing at St Pauls, of all places! But it's a very bizarre route. (Although it's not as bizarre as my Cannon Street to West Kensington route, which really was something else.)

Errr my guess would be the Circle Line....
I will re-schedule the Earls Court Z1 for week of 23rd - 27th Oct so hopefully you might get to a chance to try your bizarre 8 change route then

And you'd be right!
By the way, I'm not sure that my eight-change route is a winner really; I just want to try it out and see what happens.

I may be able to join you next Sat - will let you know nearer the time. But after a thrilling day of looking into the European Food Supplements Directive, I thought I'd have a go at the mouse tonight.
Came up with a route, and headed to my starting station after work.
However, 2 stations before I got to where I wanted to begin, I realised that I didn't have my watch with me. No problem I thought, I can use my mobile. But hang on, it's out of battery. I even brought my charger with me to get it going again but forgot. So I realised I had no way of measuring time.
Oops.
I was therefore forced to abandon my attempt 2 stations before it began. Is this a record for the worst ever attempt at a challenge?
