Hi folks,

I'm sure most, if not all, of the denizens of this forum are already aware of this, but Transport for London produce a couple of PDFs detailing proposed track and station closures for a six month period.

The station closures can be found HERE and the track closures can be found HERE.

Cheers,

Barry

It occurs to me that this situation is rather rubbish! TfL are closing not insignificant portions of the Tube, for whole weekends, for the next half a year, with no end in sight. This seems pretty poor to me (and not just because we were going to do a Zone 1 on a Sunday).

Did it used to be this bad?

I can never remember the maintenance situation being quite so dire.

It's certainly the main reason why I've never attempted anything other than the DLR - the only times I find myself in London with several hours to kill are weekends.

Still, only a couple more W+C closures before the ALC becomes possible on a weekend too (for the first time in about 9 months)
