Going Awolish (cool word, huh?)

Just to let you know, I finally got a full-time job, which is why I haven't been on the forums much recently and won't be for the foreseeable future. I also won't be available to take part in any Tube Challenges, be they major or minor. If anyone wants to use my apartment to stay the night before a Challenge, that's still fine, but I won't be able to provide support throughout the day.
However, at least I might finally be able to afford a computer of my own, in which case I will probably be around more
That's all...

Congratulations on your new job Ollie! I hope that you find it enjoyable; it looks somewhat technical to me.
Surely they give you holidays though? And holidays mean time to do tube challenges.

Congrats on the job Ollie, but how do you think the rest of the working population fit tube challenges in......?
Of my 25 days leave allocated this year I have taken 4 for tube challenging...try explaining that one to the other half when there are chores that need attending to at home

I am well aware that I have holiday available... but I don't think it would go down too well if I start taking time off for that so early in my employment.

Make sure you take your entitlement for the year though I know a lot of people that don't. I guess pro-rata would give you around 6 - 10 days depending on your total allocation and you don't have to tell your employers what you are taking leave for
