Just wondering:

Seeing as Guinness are intent on making people use any and all Replacement Buses, would they accept a time which finished at either Shoreditch or, more realistically, Heathrow Terminal 4?

It would surely be more difficult to verify, but they do say that you only need to use the Bus in one direction - meaning that finishing at T4 or Shoreditch should be acceptable.

What do you think?

Of course it is fully lega! The only (very) slight problem is their definition, which states something about a foot on the "platform".

However, it's interesting to note, that this is the only way to finish outside of the barriers. Convenient if you use a truly independent stop watch witness (no ticket needed).

Not quite true HÃ¥kan, although it's the only sensible way to finish outside the barriers. You could also finish at the charming and picturesque Kenton station, just around the corner from me, where there are no barriers at all! However I can't see why anybody would want to do that.

I once forgot to validate my oyster at Kenton -- I was worried that i would not be able to get out of the system so i managed to validate it elsewhere when my train terminated short.
