South of Thames Challenge

Post by Root »

Here's an idea which suddenly hit me the other day:
The challenge is to visit every LU station which lies South of the river Thames in the quickest possible time.

Why? Well, why not?

I might give this a go sometime. I'll probably start (or end) at Kew Gardens. Anyone up for having a go with me?

Hey another challenge with 33 stations, but this one will take a little more than 90 minutes I think.

I only make it 32! Perhaps you can tell me which one I've missed:

Balham
Bermondsey
Borough
Brixton
Canada Water
Clapham Common
Clapham North
Clapham South
Colliers Wood
East Putney
Elephant & Castle
Kennington
Kew Gardens
Lambeth North
London Bridge
Morden
New Cross
New Cross Gate
Oval
Richmond
Rotherhithe
South Wimbledon
Southfields
Southwark
Stockwell
Surrey Quays
Tooting Bec
Tooting Broadway
Vauxhall
Waterloo
Wimbledon
Wimbledon Park
Edit: And... North Greenwich!

This would probably be a three-hour jobbie, quite a few non-Tube connections would be required.

Depending on when I would be interested in having a go at this :D

Edit: Actually Ollie could this be added to you Tube Challenge day or done instead of DLR

I like this one actually. Firstly I think it should be renamed the South London challenge. And secondly I'd like to hold this record as a Wimbledon fan. PM with possible dates Root.

Yeah, I suppose, seeing as it is "Tube" day rather than "TfL" day.

Pete - dunno really, sometime next week (except Tuesday) would be fine with me. Let me know.
