Starkey7 wrote:Hmm has anybody heard about the Run Faster Than A District Train challenge? It's explained on Geoff's fabulous Alternative Challenges page, and the idea is to alight from a Wimbledon-bound train at South Kensington, and run from there to West Brompton, and rejoin the same train.

I've no idea whether it's actually possible. Are there any volunteers to try it out?
I'll be the "control", sitting on the train, for comparative poiposes.

The Farringon-Blackfriars run is much more doable. Less than a mile, and the train takes at least 15 minutes to get round. Even easier, although arguably slower, if you use FCC...

How about Olympia- HSK run, a straight easy run along the A315. What with the speeds the Olympia shuttle gets up to over the varoius flat junctions....

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Ah splendid, a Bank start. But since Bank is a veritable mælstrom of cars, buses and flustered commuters, whereabouts were you thinking?

No, I don't think so
Why not meet on a platform
like Central eastbound?

I like the Bank start
Because from there, even I
Can think of a route!

My route's a bit unusual

I have 2 x routes both pretty basic, look forward to the usual post challenge discussion :D

I thought we could either at the regular Pub about 5 mins from Bond Street or Earls Court McD's ?

Dont know what you would prefer editorsfoot is coming as well so we can discuss prior the kick off :D

See you Monday

You realise your "Haikus" are 5-8-5, rather than the required 5-7-5?
