Sounds like another pointless change, just for the sake of it being another pointless change. There are only a few outside of fare control changes that work on Z1 challenges if you want a good time.

Indeed. An overground change has to be faster than staying underground for it to be really worthwhile.

Not that I'm biased or anything, but can someone post what the team names and finishing times were, in case it takes a long time for a web write-up to appear? I'd hate the details to be lost to obscurity....thanks

Did a final write up ever appear anywhere? Or have I missed it? I too would like to see all the team names & times.

*a-hem*

If anybody wants to do an 'official' write-up, be my guest.

I've got the timesheet over there.

*points*

I'll go and get it in a second...

Chris,

send me the timesheet, and I'll put it up on my pages ... in a nice new Z1 2006 section.

Chris has finally sent me the times! So I've put them up here:

http://www.geofftech.co.uk/tubechalleng ... 1/2006.htm

Can someone please tell me what the starting station was!

And if I've made any mistakes ...

And send me a photo of yourself if you want me to add it up next to your team name & time ...

Ta,
Geoff.

And nice one Geoff for putting that online!

Hi Geoff,
Just one small correction, the time for Starkey was amended to 3:18.44 which put him in 6th Place, however, he arrived on the same train as our team (TNT) at Vauxhall, albeit in a different carriage, so really the teams must have tied in joint 5th.

Thanks Geoff. Don't have any photos sadly, but I saw a lot of cameras on the day so I'm sure pictures will be out there. Still gazing at that nice trophy......
