Tube Olympics 2024: Event 6 - Random 15 Challenge.

The final event for Tube Olympics 2024 is a Random 15 Challenge this will be held on Saturday 27th July 2024.

This event also doubles up as round 6 of the current 2023/24 Random 15 Championship season, so to avoid duplicating details, please see this post: viewtopic.php?t=3847. Tube Olympic medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers.

The post challenge meet up at The Blue Posts after this event will be used as a closing ceremony for the 2024 Tube Olympics, where medals will be given to all successful competitors from all events.

The sixth and final event of Tube Olympics 2024 was a Random 15 Challenge, this event also doubled up as round 6 of the current 2023/24 Random 15 Championship thus as well as points for the R15 leaderboard there was also medals to be had for the top three finishers.

In the event, the TOSA had run out medals to award as there was a tie between a four man team and a two man team for bronze! For full details of this event including the stations that were used please see this thread: www.tubechallenge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3847

Overall there were 13 challengers split into 7 teams:

7th: Ian McIntyre and Ian Imrie - 02:37:11 at Clapham South.
=5th: Andrew Chilcraft - 02:28:19 at Clapham South.
=5th: James Wright - 02:28:19 at Clapham South.
=Bronze: Jack Wheeler and Isaac Harland - 02:20:50 at Clapham South.
=Bronze: Tom Hardy, Edward Hill, Josh Valdez and Pascal - 02:20:50 at Clapham South.
Silver: Tangy - 02:20:17 at Stamford Brook.
Gold: Kevin Brown and Andrew Baker - 02:16:24 at Stamford Brook.

The final Tube Olympics 2024 medal table:

1. Tangy: 2 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze.
2. Andrew Chilcraft: 2 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze.
3. Kevin Brown: 1 gold, 0 silver, 1 bronze.
