Well done GuyBarry for somehow predicting the predictableness of our entry... some 10 years ago.

They were trying to reheARSE "NA-La-na-la-na", the UK's ambitious entry for that year's contest. (After years of Eurovision failure the BBC had come to realize that their best hope lay in a song consisting of meaningless gibberish.)

Mae Muller's lyrics aren't far off:

The overall last-placed song is reserved for Poland this year.

Well thank you! If we don't pull it off this year, I propose that "Na-la-na-la-na" should become the official entry next year. Has anyone got Ken Sington's phone number?

Not sure what the bookies know that we don’t but the UK has been absolutely tanking in the last week or so. They’re now favourite to be last (surely that’ll be Spain?).

In fairness Mae’s rehearsals have been pretty rubbish, although I’m told she was better last night.
