New York Ferry challenge

Post by jrparkin »

Just like the NY Subway, I don't intend to do this but given there is a Guinness WR for it, I'm wondering how you take photos to verify you have stopped at every pier

From the limited footage on YT I've been able to watch, none of the piers have nameplates inside the gate line. I have seen a photo of the Roosevelt Island pier, which has a name plate attached to gate next to the ramp, but if you cross this to take a photo of it, would you have to queue up again

Then there is the complication that you can only do this when Governers Island is open which means the summer months, hence it would (presumably) be busier putting you at risk of the ferry you just vacated to take your photo leaving without you which would lengthen your final time

Just asking because I'm genuinely curious
