This year the Cannon Street Run / Talk Like a Pirate day will be an All Lines (delayed from 2020) starting at Cannon Street station at 18:00.

There will be a 1:30 hour window for you to make your attempt, therefore for any attempt to be eligible you need to start your watch before 19:30. If you wish to abort an attempt and start again from Cannon Street this is fine. If you have completed an attempt and wish to start a second attempt before 19:30 this is also fine. All attempts must start from Cannon Street by LU services, starting your watch when doors close on your first train departing from Cannon Street (running to Bank and starting your watch there is not allowed).

You are allowed to wait for a Circle or Distict line in your chosen direction and please see Capn's log notes on post further down for your final voyage details

I'll be in London that week for work and the R15 on Saturday, so any evening good for me.

Tuesday is probably best for me although I could possibly do the Friday.

Is there a decision on the date for this? Trying to arrange my social life for the rest of the week (me me me)....

Away on the Tuesday, back on Wednesday, Friday is good

Poll is due to run until 12th Sep - ATM 6 Friday, 5 Tuesday, 0 Weds - so I would say Weds is defo out the running

But if the poll runs until 12th September, we could end up only getting one day's notice of which day it is...

Now amended to end this Friday - currently 7 for Friday, 6 for Tuesday 0 for Weds

Not that I'm suggesting this (because I won't be attending), but to make things more spicy you could steal the Pirates challenge from parkrun so that you must visit 7 stations starting with C and one station starting with R. Seven Seas and an arrrrr....!!!!

As there hasn't been an official announcement, can we take it from the poll that the event will be on Friday?

Confirmed for Friday, so please see amended O.P.
I have a very early start on Saturday so will be heading straight back but if anyone wants to meet up afterwards please post suggestions.
When you have completed please double check that you have visited all lines and just post time and finishing station unless you are happy to reveal your voyage log.

Will probably try and make this my first event!
