Random 15 Championship re-start
With the discussion on the forum about a potential Zone 1 Challenge Cup this year, it occurred to me that it would be perfect timing to restart the aborted 2019/20 season as round 4 was scheduled to be on the 20th March 2020.
Therefore my thinking was if fellow challengers were ready to start challenging again (there seems to be a general consensus that many feel happy to do so) that we could have a Random 15 in late March/early April and that would enable us to get back on schedule and finish the heavily delayed 2019/20 season.
Opinions please.

Perhaps a Battersea Power Station start? I would suggest that as it is the first challenge for a while, it is probably best to keep it as a standard Z1-2 R15 without any twists.

Re: Random 15 Championship re-start
Agree that a BPS start would be nice. I was thinking that a COVID themed twist would be good, if anyone can think of one. (Maybe including Z3 stations to make it more distanced, or banning a few busy stations.) But sticking with a non-twist round for now might be the most sensible idea.

How about only using stations which have either C, O, V, I or D in their names?Lunaticonthegrass wrote: ↑21 Feb 2022, 08:40 Agree that a BPS start would be nice. Re: Random 15 Championship re-start
I think someone suggested something like this before - maybe it was your good self. The issue here is that they're aren't that many stations, so it wouldn't be that random.
As an alternative 'Return after COVID' challenge, there are 20 stations in Zones 1-3 who's names begin with C, O, V, I or D. That would be fun if we can find a date which works.

Ah, you were on about those 5 letters ANYWHERE in their names - not just beginning with those 5 letters. That's more reasonable!

Andi won't take part in that challenge, because he thinks it's all made up ...tintin wrote: ↑21 Feb 2022, 14:48How about only using stations which have either C, O, V, I or D in their names?Lunaticonthegrass wrote: ↑21 Feb 2022, 08:40 Agree that a BPS start would be nice. Wouldn't it need to be a Random 19?tintin wrote: ↑21 Feb 2022, 14:48How about only using stations which have either C, O, V, I or D in their names?Lunaticonthegrass wrote: ↑21 Feb 2022, 08:40 Agree that a BPS start would be nice. Re: Random 15 Championship re-start
I am liking some of the suggestions put forth.
What I therefore propose is a Battersea Power Station start with 18 other stations (for a total of 19) in a "normal" round but keeping the "live bucket" draw element which was to be featured originally in this round before coronavirus got in the way of proceedings.
