Travelcards from outside of Zone 6

Post by Going Underground »

Just popped down to my ususal train station to see how much a daily travelcard is from there to Zones 2-6.Unfortunately the ticket office if not very often manned and the machine was only offering me a weekly ticket.. I then just keyed in Zones 1-6 and it showed a daily ticket.
I will be travelling to Hammersmith upcoming on a Saturday and Sunday and won't be going anywhere near or via Zone 1.
Is this a "blip" or is the the "norm" as is forcing to me to purchase a more expensive ticket that I don't need.. Cheers

There is no difference in fare anymore so you get Z1 "free".
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.
