Hugging has never been against the law. But in keeping with the mixed messages coming from Boris et al, we were "advised" not to.

Are you implying that any of the vaccines available in the UK at the moment are "unlicensed"?

with only less than 21 days to go people whom wish to attend outside of the capital have to get a friday off organise cheapish travel accommodation etc. he doesnt exactly have the best track record when it comes to making a decision suited to members outside of london!

In that case, the best thing to do is to assume that it's not happening, and don't bother going to London.

Thank you all for your input.

In light of the comments made, I have made the decision to POSTPONE the zone 1 Challenge 2021 to a date later in the year. I am thinking about incorporating it as part of Tube Olympics in late July as an option.

I have been out and about on the network for a number of weeks now and whilst the Tube has got busier with people travelling again which is great to see, there is still the mandatory face coverings rule in place and some large stations still operating annoying one way systems.

It is not just about the actual challenge but also the logistics of the day as a whole, such as the post challenge social with the quiz and darts in what may a crowded pub (I know the Lord Palmerston, our usual venue is quite large and welcoming, with social distancing still in force I doubt they would be willing to block off a whole section just for own use). I have also got to consider the age range of challengers that may be attending.

Let's wait until freedom properly returns on the 21st June when social distancing and face coverings are no longer enforced.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

I second this suggestion as it sounds entirely reasonable in light of the current circumstances.

Plus by then I'll have had my second vaccine, so won't even need to use my contactless card to open the gates any more, I can just use the microchips in my bloodstream!

Are you yet to experience the urges to buy Microsoft Office, or have they subsided already?
