Phew! Of these the Vienna U Bahn looks attractive to me

And of course, London does not currently have a completed record owing to the re-set for Battersea.

Boston (if you restrict it to the Red, Orange, Green and Blue lines) is a good one to try. The western splits of the green line make it look difficult, but it's easy to find a good route if you start in the right place.jrparkin wrote: ↑27 Feb 2022, 19:43 Additional networks available to run without current records: Melbourne (trams), TransPerth (commuter rail), Boston (commuter rail), Toronto, Seoul, Nagoya, Tokyo, Moscow, Lisbon, Chicago, Amsterdam, Beijing, Montreal, Atlanta, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Sao Paulo, Sydney (commuter rail), Mexico, Vienna and Adelaide

When I was there I did do the complete network, but split that over two days rather than racing the clock. And they've added more stations now, so my time wouldn't have lasted long anyway.

Re: Networks with Guinness World Records
Hi everyone! First time posting here.
Does anyone know if GWR generally accepts submissions for records in new cities? I'm from Spain and wanted to do the challenge pre-Covid in Madrid but didn't have a chance. I'm now living in Barcelona, which has a pretty big and old metro system but does not have an official GWC, hence the question.
I'm doing this for fun more than anything but I thought hey, why not, a GWR would be cool

Re: Networks with Guinness World Records
I've a feeling that in order to prevent having a glut of records to manage, Guinness have limited the list to the cities already on it.

Yeah, I thought so. I just hoped to maybe find somebody here who had gotten one of their own approved
But anyways that doesn't detract from the fun of doing it

Something interesting along the same lines - pun intended - I got a brief chance to sneak a look at the new Guinness World Records book and it lists NY as having 468 subway stations

Now we also have Copenhagen Metro (in addition to the S train) and San Francisco which I assume means the Muni Metro not BART
