At the 2012 Tony Awards, for Broadway theatre, the nominees for 'Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play' included acting heavyweights Philip Seymour Hoffman, James Earl Jones, Frank Langella and John Lithgow. But none of them won, who did?

A world record held by the actor Billy Dee Williams will soon be broken by the actress Jenny Agutter. What record?

Correct, longest gap between movies playing the same character. Billy Dee Williams returned as Lando Calrissian in "The Rise Of Skywalker" 36 years after "Return Of The Jedi". Jenny Agutter played Roberta "Bobbie" Waterbury in "The Railway Children" in 1970. She is the only original cast member appearing in the soon-to-be-released "The Railway Children Return".

James Earl Jones and Carrie Fisher never met working on Star Wars, as Jones' voice acting as Darth Vader was done completely separately from the other actors. The first time Jones and Fisher met was during their cameo appearances for which sitcom?

My apologies for an invalid question!!!
I should have realised that it is also 36 years between "Top Gun" and "Top Gun: Maverick"!

Sorry, but I think the Billy Dee Williams record is incorrect.

Frank Williams played the Reverend Timothy Farthing in both the 1971 and 2016 Dad's Army films - a 45 year gap. As "The Rise of Skywalker" came out in 2019, Frank's record was already longer.

I don't know, but I'm going to have a guess (intelligent or otherwise) of "Send Her Victorious".
