This is a historic event!! Haven't you been at every one?greatkingrat wrote:Afraid I can't get tomorrow off so won't be taking part. If someone texts me the starting station anyway, I might be able to pop down in my lunchbreak and wave you all off, depending on which station it is.

Re: Zone 1 Challenge 2016
The best bus routes from Walthamstow Central would be the 69 or 97 from Bus Station stop C. Alight at stop named "Leyton Green" just as you pass a large Tesco store. The pub is opposite the entrance to Tesco.Going Underground wrote:Can someone kindly remind of the bus route numbers from Walthamstom Central to King Willam IV?
Other buses run from bus stop B to the Bakers Arms but due to their routeing use different stops at Bakers Arms on Lea Bridge Road, if you do not know the area well enough stick to the 69 or 97.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Good luck to one and all - I shall see those there in the pub for the post-event event. Are any other non-competitors going to the evening session? GKR? Iain?

I'll see what the time's like when I get out of the dentist - it's looking like by the time I get to the 'stow I'll have missed a fair chunk of it, and there's always tomorrow's session
