A topic I can find little information on is where to stay overnight for the first train out of Chesham. The best place I can find is http://www.katsina.co.uk/, about a 30 min walk from the station, and also one of the cheapest in the area. Does anyone have any others they've used and would recommend that won't cost the earth?

I always stay at the Long Island hotel at rickmansworth and travel up on the train you intend to start on.

that wont help him nozza as he specifically said first train out of chesham

I mean it's an idea, but starting from Chesham is always going to be the quickest. The plan is to park at Heathrow 5, go to Chesham then at the end of the next day drive home

There's the Chesham Bed & Breakfast in Stanley Ave, 5 min from station, but on two attempts I've not been able to book there for the one night. I have used Nita's Bed & Breakfast in Amersham. Get a taxi from there.

Not sure the Chesham one is still going, the website doesn't work and nothing has been posted on their Facebook page since 2012.
