Starting at heathrow

hi

im planning to start on the 5:02 at terminal 4. and from peoples experiance does this leave on time allowing for the connection at 123. as when i last did a full network on fart day an early morning heathrow closure at 123 because of a road tunnel fire caused us to have a delayed start. is it usually on time leaving?

thanks

We have used this train, with a 50:50 success rate.

If on time, the 5:02 gets to T1-3 at 05:07, plenty of time to catch the 05:11 to T5.

However, on our first attempt, over-running engineering works meant the train turned up 10 minutes late!

Used this a couple of times and was ok. Last time from Hatton Cross; T4 at 5.03; T123 at 5.08 but the cross platform change is quick so does allow for a bit of late running. Have considered checking the departure boards for T4 on one of the travel phone apps for a few days to see how it runs, not sure if that would help but of course on the day....

That's the day before R15 isn't it? Because if it is I would quite like to do it however I don't know where to stay overnight when I finish at chesham, any ideas? As I will probably stay in the easy hotel near heathrow before CIN attempt but not sure about when everything finishes

If you make it back to Harrow on The Hill there are buses back to Heathrow late into the night..

I didn't realise that, I will try and work it out then as it sounds like quite a good day to do. In theory I should be done before last train (hopefully)

and the N18 provides a link from HOTH to Baker Street and Trafalgar Square (via Wembley Central and Westbourne Park).

The 0502 doesn't connect if the driver takes a long comfort break which delays the train. >_>

T4 is also hopeless for a finish if you are inside GWR time with 2 stations left, wonder if it was the same driver....... :(
