Pre-Pub All Lines Challenge tomorrow

Post by Nutteronabus »

Anybody going to the pub tomorrow night fancy doing one?

I'll be finished in Barnet by around 1, so can be in central London by 2 at the latest. Also, I'm not a very fast runner (or very fit), in case that has any influence over you.

But yes. PM me with your number. Or something.

If I hadn't been collared to put in a day in the lab, I would. But alas... I'll see you at the pub, though.

Hoping I'm not intruding in anyway? I just got inspired by the pub talk above... I just "happen" to be in London the upcoming weekend and might feel like a pint or two Saturday night...

My overall plan goes something like this:
* Arriving Saturday lunch, with wife and all.
* Spending Saturday/Sunday as a typical tourist - with a slight inclination towards the tube...
* Spending Monday scouting certain aspects of the system. Could be up for a pint or two again!
* What happens after Monday is confidential!

The Swedish World Record Attempt approaches!

I won't be in London this weekend, but if I was, I'd be there.

I won't be able to get out of work early enough for a pre-pub ALC but I'll be interested to hear how you all get on IN the pub ...

I didn't even know people were going to the pub tomorrow. But some people are bound to be. Thousands of pubs, millions of people - chances are, it'll happen.

I'm not doing the ALC tomorrow anymore.

Not since I did rather well in it today...

Pete - the pub in question is The Garrick Arms near Trafalgar Square:

The occasion is that Tami is coming back over and about 20 or so of us are meeting up with her in the pub.

So feel free to come along. Thart's TONIGHT (Tuesday 14th March).

Wow, would be good to see her again.

What time? I'm leading a small group session 8-10 at church, but if it's an early/late one, I'd like to come.

Is it open to everyone then? Would be good to see some of the fellow Tube Reliefers again!

IIRC that was the point - a TubeRelief meetup, but it doesn't seem to have been overly well-publicised...

Buffet? That does it, I'm coming! :D

Seriously though, I might well drag my sorry arse along to this tonight. With any luck I'll bring the rest of my body with me too.

And I'll be boycotting the tube and walking from Waterloo.

And I expect Anthony to do the same, from his mysterious North London home near an undisclosed Piccadilly Line station!
