Where Am I? UK #10 (Found in Winchester)

Okay - it's been a while since one of these general 'Where Am I?' competitions.

I need you to find me somewhere within the UK, accurate to the nearest square metre. This is a place where I have actually been at some time within the last month.

Forty questions should do it. If not, I may grant an extension. Fire away somebody!

Are you south of the red line on this map?

[Just to clarify - is this 20 or 40 questions?]

  • An interesting map/line - wonder what it represents?

Yes (2/40)
  • It's 40 questions. Sorry for the confusion - I realised an hour ago that I'd put 20 by mistake! Wondered if I could correct it before anyone spotted, but no!

It's the Severn-Wash line - the one that politicians and economists are usually referring to when they talk about the "north-south divide".

I had a feeling it may be something like that - thanks for confirming.

Well that's basically got it down to either Dorset, Hampshire or parts of Wiltshire then.

Are you in Dorset?

That actually doesn't leave much of an area at all.

Are you in the New Forest?
