Concealed stations

This seems to be the section for puzzles, so I thought I'd set a word puzzle. Each sentence contains the name of a London Underground station, with the letters in the correct order, but not necessarily consecutive. For example, "BANK" is contained in the sentence "let's graB A sNacK". See how many you can find. (There may well be additional ones in there I didn't intend, so I'll tell you that in each case the final word contains at least one of the letters.)

(1) What are you really doing now?
(2) If I'd known you were so busy, I'd very probably have worked.
(3) Such a boring course of physics!
(4) He hasn't had much.
(5) Recently I've been rather poorly, so I tried resting.
(6) I don't have a clue.
(7) Back to normal tomorrow night.
(8) Selling expensive champagne takes nerve, dedication and steely determination.
(9) The Chinese obtain silk from a worm.
(10) I blame today's weather.

I think I've got all these now. (8) has at least three answers, four if you allow DLR stations. I'll wait a bit before posting.

In the meantime, here's an easy, topical one:

(11) Service disrupted by concreting accident.

Clever! I thought there would probably be multiple answers to (8) - at the time I couldn't be bothered to check. I'll see if I can find the others.

EDIT: found two answers, one seven letters long and one six letters long. (My intended answer was longer than both put together.)

OK, now I have to look for another other answer because mine were six and eight letters long. The one I assume to be the intended answer is certainly much longer.

I've just found another six-letter answer.

EDIT: the ones I've got for (8) (apart from the intended one) are Neasden, Pinner and Leyton. What was your eight-letter one?

Ah, I forgot to post my answers.

(2) has OVAL in it, but that's all I found apart from the extra ones in (8).

Well spotted on (2), although it doesn't fit my additional criterion (there's no L in "worked").

Slight change to (6) conceals another station:

(6a) Man! I don't have a clue!
