A ridiculous story. It may generate headlines, but there are a number of issues here:
1 - The people of Doncaster South aren't likely to vote against Labour in anywhere near the amount needed to unseat Ed Miliband.
2 - Jeremy Clarkson would make a very poor MP, and any lustre gained from his initial victory would soon be tempered by his inexperience in politics.
3 - This story appeared in the Daily Mail ... need I say more?

Particularly since there's no constituency called Doncaster South. Ed Miliband represents Doncaster North.
Anyway, the point of standing against a high-profile MP isn't to try to unseat them, it's to gain publicity - not that Jeremy Clarkson needs it!

If the Tories wanted to unseat Ed Milliband then they would have to use Boris.
Vote Boris for Doncaster North.
Now back to reality.
