Random 15 Championship 2013/14: Round 1
This season's championship will commence on the 21st September 2013 at 12:30 local time.
This will be a twist round and it will be a double twist as this event will extend out into Zone 3 plus use any mode of rail under the TfL banner (i.e. LU, LO, DLR).
With the possibility of a far flung station being first on the list, I believe a nominated start station centrally located would work best with this particular station. This being LIVERPOOL STREET (meet up outside McDonalds as per Zone 1 event).
Closures:
Central: Bethnal Green- Loughton (including loop)
Northern: Angel/Euston (CHX)- Chalk Farm/Highgate (via Camden Town)
DLR: Bank/Tower- West India Quay/Poplar
Time limit to complete challenge: 6 hours
Post Challenge meet up: Angel in the Fields, Thayer Street, Marylebone.
Let the battle commence.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

i can already confirm that i will not be attending this round so unless 48 points or lower is the final championship winning score i think i chose a round which is devious but also challenging for you i hope.

You know your team is in trouble when Leyton Orient have more points than yours!Sam wrote:Well it can't start off any worse than Arsenals season!Rhys1995 wrote:I'm in. Lets make this a good season!

Personally I quite fancy doing Pymmes again but I'd be interested to hear if people want to do a different parkrun

I guess I ought to see what this Parkrun malarkey is all about. Pymmes seems a bit awkward to get to though.
How about Finsbury Park - that should be reasonably easy to get to for most people?

I didn't find Pymmes too bad to get to, changing at Seven Sisters for Silver Street. You could get a bus straight there GKR! Admittedly Finsbury is more convenient and closer though, and has the benefit of being a two rather than three lap course.

I'll be there. I was sort of hoping for a vanilla R15 for my first go, but I guess I can handle a 3-scoop Neapolitan with extra zone sauce.

Two things for this round
1 Is the tram allowed
2 I will be attending the Finsbury Park Parkrun if anyone fancies a warm up before hand.
