Yes indeedy!

Broadwater was a really fun course, and the only time I can remember going in opposite directions around a lap of anywhere. You start with a clockwise lap of the playing field, and then do two laps of a figure of eight - one bit of which is the playing field done anti-clockwise. It has potential to be a really fast course, but today as expected there were a lot of muddy bits. I felt as if I was running at a similar effort level to Littlehampton, but came in three minutes slower.

Well you will that experience again next week. Shame that won't count as your groundhog day!

Was dodging cancelled events this morning to continue my tourism spree, not helped by Facebook not showing me all the posts made by some courses! Nonetheless I ended up at Sandwell Valley which is very pleasant if a tad hilly in parts. I did start pondering though if there were any other courses that cross motorways, as this one does. I know there is the Severn Bridge one running alongside the M4, but is there anything else?

Went along to Bognor Regis today, before their model railway exhibition. Sauntered round in 28:07, finished in 116th place...except I don't appear to have been scanned! Wasn't told of any issues with my scanning so had a pleasant day in the town, looking at trains big and small, got home and found that the results have been uploaded without me being included!

Went to Southall today to get Londone again - managed to definitely not saunter to 28:06. Apart from the anomaly of 20:57 in South Africa that wasn't me, my fastest time since 2007!

Didn't get where the opposite direction round a loop came this morning?

So nice to see Kev, Iain and Andi this morning at Southall. A nice flat but twisty course.

Great to see you again too, and the others.

Any thoughts on what parkrun you fancy for April?

Sorry chaps, so busy with our house move that I forgot to post last weeks update.
I was at Lloyd which I have to say is the hardest parkrun that I've ever done, it was virtually impossible to run up the hill there was so much mud.
Trail shoes were utterly useless, the guys at the front of the field had spikes. Run Britain gave an SSS ranking of 10.0, which is the highest I've ever had (Lullingstone was my previous highest at 7.0)

Did you ever contact parkrun to get the SA result removed? A friend of mine was recently given a time way faster than they actually ran, they would probably never get anywhere near that time, so asked for the time to be amended to what they had recorded on Strava, they were happy to amend.

No there wasn't I did try and mention that at start but was tricky to explain as my lift got me there very late. Well done on a cracking time mate :-)

Here is the update from last week.

A much easier affair for me this week at Dulwich, compared to the previous week at Lloyd.

My move to Cornwall is delayed by at least one week, so will probably be at Homewood this Saturday.
