I went to Cyclopark today as it looked like a great surface (tick), not too twisty (tick) and flat (not tick). There's a hill nearly a kilometre long that you have to go up twice and of course down twice. Still my best time since parkrun restarted though, so very happy with that :)

Drama this morning

Didn't realise Upton parkrun wasn't on until 8:45 when I turned up, and no one else had! So a quick car ride to Poole, where I turned up just after the race had started!

Lesson learned. Always double check if the parkrun your going to is on!

Castle parkrun for me - a mix of surfaces but mainly grass with occasional tarmac and hard trail. Pretty much flat although a but twisty. It could get muddy after a lot of rain, but great today. Another fastest time since the restart

Rosliston for me today. A nice place to run, but blimey the hills! Might return when the bluebells are out next year, but not in a rush before then!

Too windy for the buggy. Bournemouth cancelled, Upton cancelled, Moors Valley cancelled. So off to Poole!

A fun trip to Sandhurst Memorial parkrun today, with Andy, Erika and her two year old. Bitterly cold at the start, but it warmed up for a time only just outside my fastest since the restart on a wet and muddy course. A really lovely run though, followed by breakfast at 'spoons

Perfect running weather yesterday - dry, sunny and 3 deg C. Sutton Park is another hilly monster (featuring the "Hill of Doom" which they send you down only to u-turn and run back up again!), but at least you get the pleasure of a downhill finish. Probably my fastest 5th km ever!

Anyone have plans for Christmas parkruns? Many don't seem to be running.
