I had to Google "parkrun" on seeing your comment. Interesting ...

We'll have to wait to see exactly what information they DO publish after today's runs. I'm sure the person in charge of the spreadsheet will be making a statement in due course

It's only the overall course records that have been removed, that shouldn't affect the spreadsheet. I can still see that Kevin ran Osterley today in a time of 43:30.

As the person in tempory charge of the spreadsheets, my statement is: I'm going to carry on regardless. Lots of the spreadsheet is very un-parkrun-spirited in nature (course wars would be straight in the bin if it were all my decision) but there's no need for us to follow the lead of the parkrun website in this regard. Basically, business as normal unless the data becomes unavailable.

This week 9 of us ran across 7 different courses. There were three new best times for 2024, and Iain joins the 250 club! Congratulations to us all. Link.

A bumper turnout of 15 parkrunners today, the fifth highest number of runs we've ever recorded on a single day - second highest if you disqualify New Year's Day in the era of double parkruns. The highest non-NYDD figure is 16 on 21-09-2019, when 8 of us ran together at Catford and, obviously, 8 ran elsewhere. Maybe next week we can go for 16?

Amongst the runs there was a new PB for Beer Baron, and new 2024 bests for jamesthegill, GU and The Raven. Well done to those four and everyone else for getting out there. See more info here!
