If anyone wants to check which ones nearby are running, go to https://www.parkrun.org.uk/special-events/

I might swing by Preston Park, depending on timing - I like to go out for my "12Ks of Christmas" run and watch the sun rise over the sea, so I'll see how that lines up.

Andy and I took a trip to Littlehampton along with a couple of non-forum friends. A two lap, flat out and back, giving me my fastest time for several years. Back under 30 minutes by nearly a minute :D

I did my 50th parkrun at Upton House Parkrun today. Christmas Day, my plan is to do Southsea parkrun. A PB on Christmas would be the best present!

Kingsbury Water last week was my first properly muddy course. As I suspected, I didn't enjoy it very much because of that, not helped by it being very narrow in places, so therefore difficult to avoid the really muddy bits. Will hold off a repeat visit until it's much drier!
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

Nice one!

I had a fun but not fast run at Roundshaw Mudfest, including slipping in the mud and falling into some brambles. The other runners were great at checking I was okay, and the team helped get me cleaned up before heading home.

I've only just realised that they got rid of the NYD double bubble, otherwise I would've turned up to Hove Park for 10:30 tomorrow
