Drove right past Henlow Bridge Lakes and met up with Geoff to do Castle Park parkrun! flat, multi terrain, flat course, which was flat.

I ended up doing Finsbury Park yesterday as I needed a 'F' in Alphabet and I was due to be in London for the day anyway. Lovely parkrun with a nasty hill at the backend of the 2 lap course. Time of 27:10 which I'm happy with as its only 14 seconds slower than my time last week on a pancake flat course.

Super morning at Henlow as Iain mentioned.
Well worth a visit but don't leave it too long or else wait until the spring as this will be very muddy in the winter

Had a lovely morning at Oak Hill, ticking off another one in London. Disappointed with my time of 29:15 though as I was starting nearer the back and I thought it was just within the 28-minute mark. The sprint finish at the end was good though as I sent hard, overtook at least 4 people in the last 200 metres, and then slipped in the finish funnel while trying to slow down and almost wiped that out completely!!

Nice run though in my opinion!

Nice to see a good variety of courses when processing the results. Congrats to everyone who set RB's this week.
I was at Frimley Lodge, unfortunately it was a bit misty, so couldn't fully appreciate the course, but it was interesting enough.
It seems that the course is now reveresed to what it used to be, running along the canal toward the end of each lap, rather than nearer the beginning.
I'm sure it makes no difference to times as the course is relatively flat. For the second week running I failed to take gold from Andi, my exceuse is that I'm still recovering from the Brighton (ultra) Marathon!

Trying to work out the maximum number of parkruns you could do in 2022 if you've got a lot of money, a passport and don't mind a lot of travel. I think it's 65.

54 normal Saturdays, plus trips to:

Friday 7th January in Russia
Wednesday 27th April in South Africa
Wednesday 4th May in Japan
Monday 6th June in Sweden
Friday 1st July in Canada
Tuesday 9th August in Singapore
Friday 16th September in Malaysia
Monday 3rd October in Germany
Thursday 24th November in USA for Thanksgiving
Sunday 25th December in the UK
Monday 26th December in Poland

Can you see if you can do anymore

Zielona Gora on Boxing Day could be interesting as it's the nearest 'Z' for the Alphabet Challenge!

I've just seen! Looks like a nice course as well and, I'd imagine, a lot easier to get to from the UK as well (Eurostar to Rotterdam and NS to Den Haag)!

I've often wondered what would happen if you do a parkrun in Auckland then fly to San Francisco and cross back over the date line?
UA916 leaves AKL at 15:30 on Saturday, arriving at 06:40 the same day. Assuming the flight arrives on time and you can clear customs quick enough, it's approx 30 minutes to get to Crissy Field. My guess is that your results would only show one run and not two. In theory you could do this every week so it's theoretically possible to run over 100 parkruns in a year!
One day I shall return!
