Im not a user of twitter much but I found this nugget which if it was true would have changed the history somewhat.
@luchallenge of an attempt held on October 2009 if it was proved true then sam solo record would have never have stood and mine as well

Interesting - looks like he/she didn't use the nw corner for either start or finish, and not an upminster or epping finish either.

as far as I remember going back through posts right time but I remember he said 17h 12m 18s not a full half hour quicker than that? reading the posts early on it says tigger its just interesting to read a full story which obviously either was true or not true!

Seems strange to have no tweets after October 2009.....
I assume Guinness failed to recognize it. Perhaps private transport was used between Amersham and Chesham.

The interesting thing is that he started that twitter account several months before he even joined this forum which seems a lot of effort to go to for a hoax.
