Myles is fine, just a sprained ankle. Might have a bloke called Mark who contacted me on twitter taking part.

Yes, that is what we have done in the past when stations like Queensway and Blackfriars were closed.

Andi said last night that Edgware Road (Bak) is open for incoming passengers - I can't vouch for the correctness but might be worth checking if that's part of your planned route

Taken from the TfL website "Saturday 25 May until late December, closed due to lift maintenance work. Edgware Road (Circle) is the nearest alternative station"

Also, the new tube map says it is closed http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/ ... be-map.gif

If the lift is out of action, the station won't be used for people coming in OR out.

Which is precisely why the station is closed when the lifts are being replaced ...

These were the lifts that once took me and Kevin up to the ticket hall, where the doors didn't open and took us straight back down again!

My left leg is in no fit state for running between stations at the moment (even walking is sometimes a challenge...), but as far as things stand, my diary is clear on 31st May.

No promises yet, but I may be able to pop up to town to see y'all off, and meet at the pub afterwards. But I wouldn't be able to take part in the challenge itself.

Watch this space! :)

If you hobble round you might still beat Richie 'Zone 2' Graham! :)

Bit hard to do the same route if Tottenham Court Road doesn't come out of the bag!
