Hello.

Just wondering if the Southern trains that run from Harrow + Wealdstone to Kensington Olympia use the same tracks as the Bakerloo/Silverlink trains that stop at Kenton.

In other words, if I used a Southern Trains service from H+W, would it count for having "done" H+W?

I believe not, no. Those lines can only be used for Tube and Silverlink services.

One reason for this is that any train running between H&W and Kilburn High Road needs to be fitted with LU-compatible tripcocks as all the signals have train stops. The Southern trains will not have this capability so there is no way they can run this section.

You will also find that there is no connection between the Tube/Silverlink rails and the Southern rails at Willesden Junction. Well, not according to Clive, anyway:

I think all of the above is correct :-)

SK may know more if he's around ...

Correct - Southern service runs on the fast lines.

In fact, one went past on the fast lines while we were waiting at Kenton during Tube Relief.
