Grr, buses again

Post by dr_chris »

You may or may not know that I live in Tooting. If you want to go to Wimbledon you can nip down the Northern Line or walk to Earlsfield and take a National Rail - but I prefer to take the 493 all the way, simply because it requires me to walk less and is little difference in terms of length of journey (and it costs me less too.)

Thing is, Sundays it's timetabled to arrive at 09, 29 and 49 minutes past the hour until midnight. Yesterday I arrived at the bus stop at 20 minutes past and waited for a full 55 minutes with no sign of a single bus - and to top it all off, the stop is about a minute from the terminus and I saw at least two buses go in the opposite direction.

Grr, what the bloody hell is going on?

Rant over. Meh.

Nope, running as normal. I'd used it in the morning for exactly the same route!
