Have you seen any celebrities whilst on The Challenge, or when on The Tube at any time? List them here.

I have seen only people that look similar to celebrities, BUT I tell my mates I saw Russian international Andrei Arshavin on the Central Line on my first challenge two years ago

Thought I'd start this thread as yesterday I sat opposite Patrick Baladi (from The Office) on the Circle line. He got off at Westbourne Park.
I really wanted to jump up and do the David Brent dance. I decided not to.

Now you mention it you should have done!
I watched the Sweeney last night and there's one shot of Ray Winstone heading southbound on the DLR where he gets off at Canary Wharf. How I would have loved to have been on that train! (even though obviously the other people on there would have been extras, I would have still loved seeing Ray)

I saw a guy with a lightbulb hat from the olympics closing ceremony. I didn't realise what it was at the time, as I missed it the night before due to sleeping.
In other words, no.

I sat opposite Vince Cable on Wednesday, but it was a work trip, not challenging.

I've stood by Huw Edwards (BBC 10pm news) twice. Once at my local station and the other at White City station.

I've had Dom Joly on my train before. I have also travelled on the same trains as Michael Palin, Jay Rayner, Deborah Meaden, and that guy who does Homes Under The Hammer. He asked me what the delay was.
Can you feel the star quality oozing from me?

I walked past Michael Palin on the London bound platform at Canterbury West. He sat in the seat behind my girlfriend on the way back to St Pancras.

I travelled on South West Trains with Sir Geoff Hurst.
Have also seen Christian O'Connell running for a train at London Waterloo.

Not on a challenge, but on my way to a previous nights accomodation on a challenge as I was walking upstairs to exit the station I have seen BoJo running down the steps to the tube!

I once saw both Ken Livingstone and Michael Aspel on the same day (not together though). I've seen Boris on his bike a few times as he lives quite near my office.

Oh yeah, I met Mark Bright in first class on a Virgin train from Manchester a few months back

When I used to work in Kentish Town (10 years ago now!), we'd occasionally see Ken Livingstone going past on the top deck of the 134 bus, with what I assume were his grandchildren.

Not sure I count as a celebrity! Presumably this was at lunchtime, in which case I was headed to the very same Tesco Metro you had just left. Don't know why you thought I looked very angry though
Tesco Metro - the only place to be for all good tube challengers.
