I did hear that the contract for providing the chocolate mahcines was due for renewal and that it was not renewed thus after 31 January 2006 they would be removed due to such poor sales and increasing damage from vandalls.

That was only a rumour.... happy to have it confirmed though.

Hmm... Could be true, but I remember buying some trebors last week from the one in Bounds Green- its probably taken that long for the stock to be cleared

I bought a Cadburys Caramel from the one at White City, tasted horrible, but maybe that's cos I don't like Cadburys and was just hungry for some chocolate.

the one at bounds green was always very nice to me, sometimes i would buy sports mixture and it would spit out 3 for the price of one.

How could this be, something has too be done!!!

Not only are they all out of operation, but there's several examples of crap grammar on the signs sellotaped to them!

I suspect a secret Nestlé invasion is taking place...

i love those signs. on one at canada water, someone had scrawled underneath "no inconvenience, we just miss the chocolate!"

At Finsbury Park, someone has added "You must remember that these machines are not PERFECT".
