Re: TUBE 37 BREAKFAST AT FINCHLEY CENTRAL
ok Well the day started at hatton X after a 1 min bonus at t4 starting easily made the connection at t123 or so we thought we waited and waited and eventually it came and arrive at t5 at the time it should have gone back out.!Now if u 10m down u dont dawdle and wait up the siding hence me tapping my watch (and the stupid git of a driver even had the cheek to say the guy tapping his watch its half past 5 ******* ******)
Despite that mishap we eventually made time back up and a nifty switch we thought we were going to miss ken o at that rate managed even a slow jog into for the 06.15 another being held outside earls court meant we missed our onward connection and then another horrible wait meant another route change but this meant record was tight so in the end feeling hungry we ended up at finchley central as we wanted to see if our 0 min connection actually woked on schedule breakfast was great for the 3 of them i had tea.

My response is to look at my watch too and smile at them - winds them up even further. Geddit??! Winds them up?!?!?!?scrxisi wrote:Some drivers I know (not me, I'm not arsed) are well wound up by watch tappers and have a series of comebacks primed and ready in their arsenal - one of which you heard; though I must say, surprised he had the balls to actually call you an f-bomb ******!palkanetoijala31 wrote:...hence me tapping my watch (and the stupid git of a driver even had the cheek to say the guy tapping his watch its half past 5 f****** ******)...

I always enjoy passengers boarding a bus (when I get to drive one) saying "You're late" as they get on. "Yes I am" is the usual response to that one
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
