Hope everyone had a good Christmas.

I certainly did, I got several CDs, and my family got an Xbox + Kinect, which is good fun.

Most interestinly for you guys though, I got 3 unexpected tube related presents! I got the London Railway Atlas by Joe Brown, Walk the Lines by Mark Mason and the Little Book of the London Underground by David Long. All 3 look interesting, the atlas contains lots of detail and facts, and the bit i've read from the 'Little Book' details all the failed attempts and crazy ideas to solve London's congestion problems, before the tube was settled on. I am yet to explore Walk the Lines.

Lots to read!

How was everyone elses Christmas?

Sounds like you did OK there :)

Had a fairly quiet Christmas at home with the missus and the two lads...... I got the Kinnect party game, waste of money and very frustrating to play :x And also the Wii party game which was a good laugh even if this aimed at the -10's

I was flicking through a couple of those books in Waterstones yesterday, they looked interesting. I also found one with a bit behind the origins of the names of the tube stations.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of them :)

I'll let you know how the books are when I have read a decent amount.

I really don't get new year. Celebrating an arbitrary number change. Uh?

Also, new years resolutions I also don't get. Not only because new year is arbitrary, but also because, if you want to do something enough, why wait till new year? put your goals into action now to get even more benefit!

Do you celebrate your birthday? If so, your argument is invalid.

My New Year's resolution is 1366x768. It's the same as last year's.
