Top Times: Christmas Park Challenge

Here are the times and starting stations

2006 was scheduled to be Wimbledon Park but Ric was running very late and therefore started from Canons Park

The 2008 Park challenge started from Elm Park but all the teams aborted due to an unfortunate incident at Canons Park :!: At that point one of the teams was on schedule to be some way inside the record time with just a couple of stations left to visit.
This was "re-run" from the same starting point in 2009

1. 07:19:58 Andi James, 23-12-2011 (Moor Park) ****
2. 07:25:07 Kevin & Jamie Brown, 21-12-2007 (Woodside Park)
3. 07:38:27 Steve Wilson, 21-12-2010 (Newbury Park) ***
4. 07:46:54 Peter Smyth, 30-12-2009 (Elm Park)
5. 07:47:05 Kevin Brown & Steven Karahan 31-12-2012 (Wimbledon Park)
6. 07:48:35 Kevin Brown, Steven Karahan & Matt Nunn, 30-12-2009 (Elm Park)
7. 07:50:08 Andrew Chilcraft, 31-12-2012 (Wimbledon Park)
8. 07:59:20 Peter Smyth, 31-12-2012 (Wimbledon Park)
9. 07:59:21 Kevin Brown, 21-12-2010 (Newbury Park)
10. 08:08:36 Ric Brackenbury, 20-12-2006 (Canons Park)
11. 08:14:00 Martin Hazel, 30-12-2009 (Elm Park)
12. 08:25:01 Martin Hazel, 31-12-2012 (Wimbledon Park)
13. 08:38:01 John Stark & Ric Brackenbury, 21-12-2007 (Woodside Park)
14. 08:39:31 Thomas Wood (& Philip Brown*) 30-12-2009 (Elm Park)
15. 08:47:19 Oliver & Mark Lewisohn, 30-12-2009 (Elm Park)
16. 08:50:20 Philip Brown (& Max Laverack**), 21-12-2010 (Newbury Park)
17. 08:51:33 Hassan Chagani, 30-12-2009 (Elm Park)
18. 09:10:41 Myles Swaine-Gray & Iain MacNaughton, 31-12-2012 (Wimbledon Park)
19. 09:17:47 Martin Hazel, 21-12-2010 (Newbury Park)
20. 09:43:10 John Stark, Kevin & Jamie Brown, 20-12-2006 (Wimbledon Park)

* Philip did not have time to complete and make his train home, which was a "knock-on" effect of the drama that morning he had getting to Elm Park and the subsequent late start...

** I seem to recall that Max met up with Philip during the challenge

*** Andi James & Sara Wern also competed but aborted

**** Kevin Brown and Steve Wilson also competed but aborted

I vividly remember that one where Wimbledon Park was the starting point! Ending at Amersham at about 3am, just in time for a curry.

And I think that Ric and I got fish and chips on finishing at Elm Park when he and I teamed up.

Just wondering if you have to attempt this at Christmas, or could you (I) go out and do it in June?

Park challenge is a once a year contest usually held on a Saturday when all lines open

I mean when it's not the contest. As I wont be in London at Christmas for years (until I move there in 15 years time  ), so could only do it some other time
