***** wrote:The new Boris Bus that's the replacing bendy-buses, Neil. Which is a good idea in some places, but not in others. I think (for example) that it's perfectly suited for route 207 (where i live) and replacing it won't be a good idea.
Look at road accidents, Geoff - up when Bendy Buses came in.

Geoff, the thread title does indeed suggest buses, but all I can see is two guys talking about how much they fancy Boris.

***** wrote:Yup, good in some places (like the long, non-bendy! Uxrbidge Road which the 207 goes down), and less so in others ... Routes with more turns and corners in central London where some bendy's used to operate. Ones already been replaced, hasn't it? I forget which number. Good in some places, bad in other. I just hate it when sweeping generalisations are made and just because a bendy-bus wasn't suited for one route, doesn't mean it's automatically unsuitable for ALL routes!
Surely the 207 has at least one bend in its route...

Not necessarily. The bus turning circles may not be part of the route...
