slade green is not an S station, it is in zone 6, and therefore the alphabetical placement is read from the second letter of the word. it's been the way since some twat decided to try and counter a perfectly legal victorian shuffle played by stovold, by invoking a recurring charm loop around stratford, loughton and hainault, when the JLE opened.
