Metropolitan Line- Timetable changes

Not only is the District line having its timetable changed, the Metropolitan line is too...

The biggest change is that off peak ALL trains will call at ALL stations to thier final destination (fast Metropolitan line trains will only run in the peak hours). Chiltern will continue to run off peak fast trains but only, as now, every 30 minutes.

The proposed frequencies in the off peak are:
--Aldgate- Uxbridge: 8 tph
--Baker St- Watford (Met): 4 tph
--Baker St- Amersham: 2 tph (plus 2 fast Chiltern)
--Baker St- Chesham: 2 tph

I doubt it will have much effect at the times most Tube Challengers are up in this corner of the map but it may be useful to others.

When is this change occuring? At the normal timetable change in December? If so, is it definite yet or still in theory a proposal for change, like the Olympia changes?

Useful to some, a hindrance to others. If I were still living in Chesham, I'd appreciate being able to travel to Pinner to see family without changing trains (I used to have to change twice), but I'd find it annoying to call at all the intermediate stations when I just wanted to get to central London as quickly as possible. The latter was much more frequent than the former, so overall I wouldn't be happy with this change.

The version I heard was slightly different

4tph Aldgate - Uxbridge
4tph Baker St - Uxbridge
4tph Baker St - Watford
2tph Aldgate - Amersham
2tph Aldgate - Chesham

Train to Baker Street, then a bracing saunter along the Euston Road?

Well it was just an example! Luckily, James The Gill turned up trumps again.

There aren't any direct off-peak trains from Croxley to GPS at the moment anyway so they are not losing out there.
