To claim points, a post must be made to the game thread in this format:

For weed claims: "x point weed", "x weed", "x weeds", "x points";
For bell claims: "x bells". Bells may also be claimed by typing "Clang" once for each bell claimed (so three bells would be claimed by typing "Clang, clang, clang").

An extract from the rules, with the bit about claiming with clangs in bold.

Soup Dragon's posts on the game thread 09 Oct 2018, 17:40 / 17:43 count as "spoilers", and "reset the clock" at 17:40 because the second consecutive spoiler at 17:43 has no effect.

Therefore Going Underground's claim of 47 bells 11 Oct 2018, 12:04 would be correct for the last valid claim by Iain 09 Oct 2018, 12:27, but is not valid because of Soup Dragon's spoilers.

Therefore, I've just claimed 47 bells, which I believe to be correct.

Aren't rules fun ?!?

Nothing wrong with using clangs, but there was one too many as only 23 hours plus change had passed - hence my claim for 24 bells

Any post in the thread, regardless of what it is, that is other than the claim for points, is a spoiler, be it a set of full stops, a practical point or an essay on nuclear physics.
