Re: Tumbleweed - The Rules and Discussion
Well I claimed something like 348768734 bells the other weesk, but that was clearly invalid.
I saw 8 bells the other day. Have we had a valid claim for 9 bells yet?

Ah, I assume you're asking because you claimed 11 bells earlier?

Re: Tumbleweed - The Rules and Discussion
I think 11 hours is the longest we've gone without a claim. Unless you count all the time from the 30th of January, 2005 to when the game started.

Re: Tumbleweed - The Rules and Discussion
Seems to be not sure what the longest valid claim is now though?

We're almost into the realms of 20 bells now.

Re: Tumbleweed - The Rules and Discussion
Due to some technical upgrading, the current round of tumbleweed will end some point tomorrow morning.
Scores will then be collated - a new tumbleweed section hopefully should be back by the end of the weekend.

Gosh, you had fun in 2011 ... and I see history repeating itself in some respects.
For clarity, please would you confirm whether the current rules are :
- the message at the start of this thread at 18 Jun 2011, 21:00:12
- the message in this thread at 27 Jun 2011, 12:06:28
- somewhere (probably the scores thread) within the last few months
- somewhere/sometime else
Thanks,
DavidC

First to 100000 in the 2015+ Tumbleweed contest. Winner of a few rounds of a diverse range of quizzes/games. Some decent times in alternative challenges as a fiftysomething who merely walks briskly. Briefly led All The Actons.

Seeing as this is a huge claim, it is probably the largest claimed. Is this a 4 year cycle?tubeguru wrote:Well I claimed something like 348768734 bells the other weesk, but that was clearly invalid.

Re: Tumbleweed - The Rules and Discussion
Hi, I was just wondering if you can post weed instead if bells on the game. For example, instead of '3 bells' could I put '36 weed'? Thanks!

Re: Tumbleweed - The Rules and Discussion
No. Three bells is a claim for three hours, which can only be claimed as "three bells" or "180 weed".
"36 weed" is an invalid claim.

Re: Tumbleweed - The Rules and Discussion
Sorry forgot the rules! I meant to put 180, not 36! But that's been answered anyway!
