I'm going to keep a close eye on our feeder team, Dover, this year. I feel bad because in the last month we've nicked their manager, their youth team coach, and then their new manager who's now assistant manager to their old manager at Priestfield

...And Dover's new manager is Stortford's ex-manager. The world really does go around! :)

Friday is the 23rd! ;) :)

On that day, the 'famous' Bishops Stortford FC will play Gillingham in a friendly for the 2nd season running. Hopefully we'll get revenge on the 3-1 defeat of 1 year ago...

I like the look of the opening match of Hayes versus Bath.

So I'd thought I'd kick thid up the backside after we appear to be bidding farewell to another non-league side. A victim of HMR&C. Ilkeston Town FC of the Blue Square North have been wound up. :(

Also while we are here, how's your local non-league team doing? No surprise for me to say that Bishops Stortford FC are starting to head downwards in the BSS. Currently 12th but have lost the last few games by a fair margain. (1-4 loss at home to newly promoted Farnborough Town being the last). Despite the early point of the season, I think we are being dragged into a relegation battle. :|

Faversham Town are currently winning the forum Ryman League Division One (South) battle, leading from 11th place, a full 3 points ahead of lowly Worthing who are occupying 17th. Not bad for a newly promoted side who were only reformed 4 years ago!
