I'm sure it hates you too

If anyone can travel the whole of the Waterloo&City line standing up, without holding on at all, I'll buy them a pint. It's one rough line, soon to probably be an awful lot smoother.

Surely that should go in 'alternative challenges...'

Though actually, I'm up for giving it a whirl!

OK then, the rules are:-

1) You must stand.
2) You cannot hold onto anything.
3) You cannot lean, or support yourself on anything (including Japanese tourists).
4) Crash helmet is optional.

It's much harder travelling from Waterloo to Bank, so maybe it should be in the rules that it has to be done in that direction. I lasted until the second curve out of Waterloo!

Hmmm....think I'll make a small detour on my way across London this evening.

Could we specify what the pint is of? I'd hate to complete this monumental challenge only for my prize to be a pint of London's finest tap water.....

If you want to compare times then simply start your watch the second the train starts moving.

Whoever lasts the longest is the winner!

Everyone should buy the winner a pint, and if they can't do it again (drunk) then they should have to buy a drink for everyone else too!

I was thinking we all meet at Waterloo, give it a whirl, pop to a pub at Bank for a few hours, then do it again.

Minimum of 3 pints each. No spirits allowed. This is a man's game.

Yeah, even the Spoons on Chancery Lane is closed on Sundays. But then, Chancery Lane itself is just about empty on Sundays, the Tube station is also closed, and so is the Drain, not that Chancery Lane would be a valid location to go for a drink anyway, so all that I'm saying is pointless!

Fantastic!

Two people is all we need for a competition to become a competition, therefore it's (probably) on!

Anyone else care to join?

I can make myself available if I really want to do this.

Do I really want to do this?
