Photo Quiz 11.17 (FINISHED)

Post by tubeguru »

OK, this one may be easier, it may not be. It's a fairly unique feature of this tube station. But where on Earth (or in London) is it?

The deadline is Tuesday the 30th of March at 18.00 BST/GMT/whatever MT it is when it's 1800 next Tuesday.

Carpet Crawlers is one of my favourite Genesis songs, taken from 1974's The lamb Lies Down on Broadway. I prefer the way they performed it after Peter Gabriel left. Compare 1976 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtzgBJ13vro) with 2007 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Duf-c7eQScc).

You can't watch that 2007 one because it's been removed for copyright reasons since I posted it up. Well if people will take it straight from the DVD ...

How strange - when I clicked on it last night it said it had been deleted. Obviously the person keeps reposting it!

OK, this one is finished and the red door in question can be found on the side of Sloane Square station.

There was only one correct answer submitted for this one, from jbom.

jamesthegill suggested Chalfont and Latimer, while Starkey offered Boston Manor.

I'll put up an easyish one for my next quiz to see if I can attract more entries.

Argh, and I knew this one (had I thought about it for more than 20 seconds), I think I've parked my bike near that door...
