You're getting warmer ... although there is still quite a large area to investigate.

You say you are not north of Manchester, so are you within it? By that I will say within the M60 motorway

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!
Tangy.

It might be worth clarifying to other players what PTE stands for.

Passenger Transport Executive.

I don't think I'd be giving it away by saying that I am in the Greater Manchester PTE, as we are inside the M60.
This map shows the various PTEs in the north: http://www.northernrail.org/pdfs/networ ... n_2010.pdf

Re: National Rail Where Am I? #2
YES! I am at the infamous Reddish South station which, according to the ORR 07/08 station usage figures, is the least-used station in the entire UK. This, as many of you are aware, is due to the fact that the station lies on the Stockport to Stalybridge line which sees only one passenger train a week (the 09.22 Fridays only Stockport to Stalybridge service).scrxisi wrote:Not confident my knowledge of what class does what and what kind of trains they are is up to much, but I think I'm now down to a couple so I'll take a punt - are you at Reddish South?
The only other choice you would have had at this stage was Manchester United FC Halt.
Here's how the train is shown in the National Rail timetable. It doesn't even get a proper entry - just the departure from Stockport and the call at Guide Bridge.
