Bus challenge

Evening all.
If you thought that the painstaking progress of tubes at rush hour was frustrating, how's this for a different challenge: go on as many London buses as possible in one day.
A couple of points: "going on the number 42" means "staying on the 42 for at least three stops". And to make it a little more difficult, there's the stipulation that if you go on route n during the day, then you have to go on all the routes up to route n as well. But you can do them in any order!
I'm doing something along those lines at the moment, albeit a little more leisurely and more long-term. I reckon that it should be possible to reach number 65 or so, but beyond that seems difficult. What do people think?
