Re: Flying Finn 16th attempt
Hi there. Me and a Buddy are about to make our first attempt in a few weeks. We have been looking at a few different starting points. Does nobody start in Epping because it is an easy change to the Victoria line?
Thoughts suggestions? Help.

Re: Flying Finn 16th attempt
I have managed to make several routes work to the opening hours Amersham,Epping,Upminster,Morden,Heathrow t5 and t4 starts even 1 im reluctant to give out.The theroy is that an amersham must be either at the end or finish because of the distance out of london.BetaThetaPi wrote:Hi there. Epping start yes it hasnt been done yet and can therotically be done allthough i wouldnt say it is the most easiest change to the vic line your choices would be.
Leytonstone/leyton to walthamstow by bus
overground train which would involve 2 runs at either end perhaps
best research all the options u have before deciding u find its not easy.

The 05:49 seems like the first decent train to do Epping -> Snaresbrook -> Woodford and then round the Hainault looppalkanetoijala31 wrote:Epping start yes it hasnt been done yet and can therotically be done allthough i wouldnt say it is the most easiest change to the vic line your choices would be.

Ongar starts used to be done, indeed when I was interviewed for a magazine it turned out that the lady writing the article had done a full network starting there. I don't think it's necessary to connect Central to Victoria - there are other options for the northern end of the Vic. So I don't think starting in Epping breaks an obvious connection in the way that starting in Morden does. [Edited]
