Re: Photo Quiz 6.19
You did warn us this would be an EVL one and it sure is! I spent about 30 minutes on MSN talking to a friend trying to locate this and between us have failed to get a definte answer. All I have at the moment is an educated guess based on process of elimination.
Two can play that game!

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Re: Photo Quiz 6.19
The term EVL is a bus clasisfication code meaning East Lancs. Volvo Low floor. If you have been on route 93 between Wimbo and Morden you may of noted down the fleetcode as EVLxx. Considering this code given to the buses, many bus spotters simply call them "EViLs."
I have taken this fleetcode/nickname a bit further when quizzing my fellow bus/train friends by saying something like "now you are just being EVL" (EViL) if they send me a difficult question. This is exactly what this photo quiz is, EVL, as I have yet to positvely identify where it is!
I put my hands up to this, it was me who coined the nickname for this purpose. Hope this makes mores ense as the where the term came from.

Re: Photo Quiz 6.19
This week's answer was obvious, if you'd been following the conversation in the thread for Quiz 6.17, as it was Burnt Oak.

Drat it! I forgot to send you a PM! Knew I should of done so a couple of days ago!!
After me and a friends spent 30 minutes on MSN we came up (by process of elimination) with "it has to be Edgware branch then." Of which meant it could only be Brent Cross (no, can't be, above road level), Hendon (doubt it, not as leafy), Colindale or Burnt Oak.
The latter was very much suspected by myself as its name has cropped up in a few photo quizzes recently. Oh well....

I didn't trust myself to answer it without taking a cheeky look at wikipedia first... I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a photo of your foot James, but it was a very pleasant surprise nontheless.Going Underground wrote:At last Hassan it had to feature eventuallyjamesthegill wrote:This week's answer was obvious, if you'd been following the conversation in the thread for Quiz 6.17, as it was Burnt Oak.
